THE B TEAM
Simple Series Rules
The B Team is a College Football 27 Ultimate Team series where
every roster upgrade must be earned through gameplay challenges.
The goal is to take a low-rated team built from the Item Binder and
turn it into a 99 ovr roster.
1. Starting the Team
The series begins with a team made entirely from players already in
the Item Binder.
No starting player can be rated higher than 65 OVR.
Players must play at their listed position or an allowed
secondary position.
The full starting lineup will be shown before the series begins.
2. Binder-Only Upgrades
Every new player must come from the Item Binder.
Players cannot be purchased from the Auction House specifically
for the series, and packs cannot be purchased with real money to
earn upgrades.
The Item Binder locks at the start of each episode. Any new players
earned during the episode become available in the next episode.
3. B Tokens
B Tokens are the currency used to upgrade the team.
They are earned by completing challenges during games.
B-Level Challenge: 1 B Token
A-Level Challenge: 2 B Tokens
Elite Challenge: 3 B Tokens
Viewer Challenge: 3 B Tokens
Unused B Tokens carry over to future episodes.
4. Buying Upgrades
The cost of an upgrade is based on how much better the new player
is.
Same overall replacement: 1 B Token
Plus 1 OVR: 1 B Token
Plus 2 OVR: 2 B Tokens
Plus 3 OVR: 3 B Tokens
Plus 4 OVR: 4 B Tokens
For example, replacing a 76 OVR player with an 80 OVR player
costs four B Tokens.
Players normally cannot be upgraded by more than four overall
points during one episode.
5. Episode Challenges
Before each game, three challenges will be announced:
1. One offensive challenge.
2. One defensive challenge.
3. One wildcard challenge.
Challenges cannot be changed after the game begins.
Completing all three challenges earns one bonus B Token.
6. Weekly Viewer Challenge
Once each week, viewers will submit a challenge.
The challenge may be chosen through comments, likes, a poll, a
random drawing, or creator selection.
A viewer challenge must be possible, measurable, fair, and
completed during a normal game.
Completing the viewer challenge earns three B Tokens.
Failing the viewer challenge means the highest-rated starter on
offense or defense must be benched for the first game of the next
episode.
7. Game Rulings
Completed challenges count if an opponent quits.
Incomplete challenges do not count.
Overtime statistics count unless stated otherwise.
A disconnect before halftime allows the game to be replayed.
Final game statistics will be used to confirm challenges.
A challenge that cannot be verified does not count.
8. Loss Penalties
Losses can create additional consequences.
Three losses result in a temporary player downgrade.
Throwing three or more interceptions costs one B Token.
Losing by 21 or more points prevents upgrades before the next
game.
Completing none of the challenges means one starter must be
benched for the next game.
9. Milestone Rewards
Special achievements can earn free upgrades.
Examples include:
Three-game winning streak: Free upgrade of up to two overall
points.
Five total wins: Free specialist upgrade.
Ten total wins: One upgrade of up to five overall points.
Ten completed viewer challenges: Viewers select a position to
upgrade.
Perfect episode: One free upgrade.
Championship or major rivalry win: One unrestricted player
from the Item Binder.
10. The Main Rule
Every upgrade must be earned.
No purchased players. No free upgrades. No changing challenges
once the game begins.
